Study: Parental guidance on movies curbs drinking
Mon, 08/02/2010 - 22:42According to a new study, parents who don't allow their children to watch R-rated movies are keeping them from drinking and smoking. Dartmouth pediatrician James D. Sargent says children who watch these movies are more prone to "sensation seeking" and risk taking.

Event attracts youths, unites congregations

Ministry produces, delivers food worldwide
Tue, 07/27/2010 - 00:22Last year, Gleanings for the Hungry ministry produced 4 million pounds of food for partnering churches and missions agencies. As part of their partnership, Convoy of Hope transports donated goods to Gleanings for the Hungry and they transport the final product to Convoy of Hope — this allows both agencies to help feed the hungry.

Gunman slays Pentecostal pastor in Russia
